Iheanacho Scores First Goal In Twelve Months

Leicester City striker, Kelechi Iheanacho has ended his one year goal drought in Leicester City’s 4-0 win over Luton Town in the league cup.

Iheanacho’s last goal for Leicester City was against Huddersfield Town on September 22, 2018.

He played his last competitive match for The Foxes in May 2019 against his former club Manchester City

Iheanacho came off the bench to make his first appearance of the season in the 71st minutes and he scored in the 86th minute to put the icing on the cake for Leicester City.

Wilfred Ndidi was in action for Leicester City before he made way for Choudouri in the 77th minute.

Iheanacho has scored five goals in over fifty appearances for Leicester City.

The former man city forward may have to seek  new pastures in January to enjoy regular football having find it difficult to break into the team.
